Let There Be More Light

I hope that you all enjoyed your New Year's!

I certainly did. We greeted 2015 by watching two sets of fireworks in what you could almost call two different timezones against a brilliant display of lightning, drinking lemonade, cracking fortune cookies and getting very happily caught in the rain.

How did you greet 2015?

  1. That sounds like an amazing way to bring in the new year! I don't think there's anyplace to watch fireworks around here on New Years eve, but that would be such a fun way to celebrate!

    1. It was a very fun evening, but with the rain I think it would have been just as nice on the couch! The same to you, best wishes for 2015!

    1. I do too, it's the only time they come out over here in Australia. I think your New Year's sounds just lovely and that is something I'd like to do someday, I've never spent a New Year's away from home. And being with loved ones really is what makes it so wonderful.

  6. Your new year's eve sounds idyllic! Mine was spent sewing and watching a concert on the telly, pretty tame haha. I did hear some fireworks going off in the distance but I was too cosy in my little spot to investigate. I hope you have a great 2015!

  7. happy belated new year! I supposed you were watching the Sydney fireworks? isnt that funny how technically we should be celebrating at the same time physically in the world, we don't! we almost forgot to say happy new year to each other. we were too busy trying to take photos with sparklers and glow sticks!

    1. And to you too! Not quite, I managed to cross the border in time to see two sets of coastal fireworks, and yes it is quite funny! I think we could say the same, we were in such a rush to get to the second round of fireworks that we almost forgot too!
