Christmas Wish List

I must apologize for my lack of blogging recently. After coming back from the little resort getaway with the boy I fell sick and it took me some time to recover. Things have also been quite busy as of lately in preparation for Christmas, birthdays, graduations and a little holiday up north. But I am hoping that my blogging shall become more frequent. I have a slowly compiling string of posts up my sleeve that I hope to post soon.

Anyway, here is just a little list of things that I wouldn't mind seeing under the tree this year.
What are you wanting for Christmas?

"Foale and Tuffin: The Sixties. A Decade in Fashion." by Ian R. Webb

Apple Records Dartboard.

"This is a faithful reproduction of the original 1968 collectible which was manufactured in limited quantities and issued exclusively to Apple employees and close friends."

Vintage Biba Powder Tint Set in "Peacock".
Eye shadow colours included are red, blue, grey and green.

Vintage 1960's Avon dolly lipstick holder with mirror.

Vintage book ends.

I'd use these to store my 45's. They are currently sitting upright in a shoe box.
These look like they'd do the job much more nicely.

Woolworth's Baby Doll make-up products.

Yes, wishful thinking but a girl can dream!
In fact, has anyone actually seen any of these up for sale at all?

"Birds of Britain" by John Green.

Desirable Dolly Dresses

Here are some very pretty little numbers from Etsy that I really wouldn't mind having in my wardrobe at the moment.

These top two dresses are from HuzzarHuzzar
That purple velvet dress is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

Beautiful dress and matching coat from VintageStylez. I adore this and it is really perfect for me. I like to match and coordinate everything in my outfits - it is often the first thing that people seem to pick up on when it comes to my outfits.

Pretty and Petite dress from PenelopeHeavenly.

I can't fault this dress from TheGirlSaidYes.

I know it's a bit far away Santa, but please take note of these when you are deciding what to send me for Christmas!

Cathy's Survival Kit

This is something that has been on my wish list for quite some time. In the 1960's Cathy McGowan, mod icon and British dolly who is most famously known for presenting the popular music show "Ready, Steady, Go!", launched her own product. This was "Cathy's Survival Kit"; Cathy's own cosmetics case for busy girls needing a touch-up on the go. It looks to me like the kit included two lipsticks, a mascara, eye pencil, concealer and either a blush or eyeshadow.

I am an absolute sucker for cosmetics with colourful and groovy 1960's designs, so this is right up my alley. I'd carry Cathy's cosmetics with me everything, feeling oh so mod!
