As I mentioned in my last post I am now currently once again residing at my old family home. I thought I might show you just a couple of pictures of what my living space and wardrobe is looking like at the moment. It has been hard trying to squeeze an entire unit back into a tiny room!
The walls are still covered in Beatles posters from my teen years as you can see in the reflection!
Vintage mirror, lamp and planter that I didn't have space for back in the unit. The little wooden jar was carved by a family friend from one of the trees in my Grandfather's hometown.
It was a nightmare trying to fit my clothes (and shoes) in here.
I'm not game enough to show you wardrobe number two!
Also here is the latest addition to my vintage collection: a beautiful 60's mini dress in beautiful condition. It was a real steal for only $8.00.
On Tuesday my Internship commences. I won't be around these parts for a while. Hopefully all goes well and I can get back to the blogging world again soon!
Title: "Get Back" - The Beatles
Hi, dear Lucy in the Sky! Well, I must say you did a fine job of getting organized back where you once belonged. In fact your room looks immaculate. I wish my room was half as neat. I appreciate the creative composition of that picture which shows your Beatles posters reflected in the looking glass. So cool! Bright colors look great on you and I can't wait to see you in that green mini dress. I realize that blogging can't be a high priority for you during your internship but please know that I and all your friends care about you and will be here for you whenever you care to post. Stay safe and have a splendid weekend, dear Lucy!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Shady! Really, I cannot wait to wear that green mini dress. And that is very lovely to know, I will keep that in mind. You have a fantastic weekend too! xx

Deletei love your wardrobe! the prints and colours are like the op shop of my dreams. I have 2 wardobes as well as 2 sets of draws so dont feel bad!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lucky find with that dress, its so fab! All the good stuff usually gets snatched up by the "vintage" store hipsters, so its so good you got one! Good luck with your internship, i hope its fun and informative.
Oh I know how you feel, I see them sometimes when I'm out in the op shops and can't help but hope they'll steer clear of something I've got my eye on!
DeleteAnd thank you, I hope so too!
Oh, wow. I just want to steal all your clothes.
ReplyDeleteBut that one sweater is exactly like one I saw in a picture of Bridgette Bardot the other day, and was crushing on hard- and I even remember where I found it! xD. Here: http://fashion-pictures.com/1972/img2.php?s=1&p=1&img=brigitte-bardot-1972-1.jpg
Good luck moving back in!
Oh my goodness, the prints are very similar aren't they? Though mine is a dress. I cannot believe that though - thank you for the link!
